You will see two blue portals - one on the eastern and the other on the western side of the field.
Do I have to travel with one main character?
No, you can bring any friends that want to accompany you.
Do I have to fight alone?
Absolutely not! This is a single-player affair, there will be plenty of objectives to go after along the way, but it doesn't matter what character you are if you're missing one of the companions.
What is "Battle of the Ash'?

Near end of this boss, the anchor shapeshifts into a pack of lesser creatures who drop the Echo of Ynh. You will need the Echo for the chain and kill them ASAP.
Where is our soul?
Near end of this boss you will see a portal located at the entrance to the Sanctum area. The key thing to remember is that there is one big blob in the middle of the room and the other around the edges. Go in and loot them. That should grant you your soul.
What's up with that big blob?
The blob is the source of all your enemy spawn, other than that, there's not much else to see. You are not able to access the Ynhh portal until your group of 5-6 players has completed the Ynhh Bleeding Grounds Map. You can queue for this map by talking to Kel'Thuzad. Once queued, this map will be available through the Queue menu, and will be accessible on the Map and Quest Tab once your group has completed the Bleeding Grounds Map. This map is also available once you complete the Blood and Sand questline for Hakkar the Soulflayer.
Can we use the Nightmare difficulty version of Ynhh?
You must beat Ynhh on Nightmare difficulty in order to access the Nightmare version of Ynhh. This questline ynhh intranet
